Chuck, just curious as to what relationship you are to the Bodish's. I am the son of Ralph and Ruth (Bodish) Miller. The only comment I have is that I was told that Ruth Bodish was born in 1921, not 1920. Thanks and take care. Ralph Miller of Pittsburgh Pa.

I enjoyed finding your website while researching family history. Franz Glueck and Ludwina Katarina Koy are my 2nd great grandfather & grandmother, on my mother's (Anna Francis Braden 1920-2003), father's (Frank Paul Braden 1866-1943) side. Thank you for compiling this information. Please add my name to any mailing lists you might have concerning family & future reunions.

Hi Chuck, I love your web site. I am first cousin to Charles Benjamin White, husband of Mary Ann Kuhn. Our mothers were sisters. My dear friend is John Charles White. We have known each other since 2nd grade. I was born in 1940 and he was born in 1941. We have recently reconnected and have enjoyed discussing our genealogy, plus everything else. He is teaching me to shoot a gun. I live in Nacogdoches, TX now. However, I spent many years in Galveston, where I went to high school and nursing school. JC told me you live in Dickinson. So maybe we can meet someday. Best wishes, Jean

I found about your site, from a man, who said, his name was Jerry. I met him at the National Archives, in Chicago. I am searching my family, in Prussia. The earliest records, I have is, a grandfather, named Peter Hickstein, who married Louisa Shultz, in Stettin, Pommern, Prussia. Their son, Ferdinand, came to Wisconsin, from Posen, with his wife, Augusta, Caroline Hoffmann, in 1866. I am having a hard time finding, records, of their immigration to America.

My Brother Waldemar Koy, who tried to find family members in the USA under this portal few month ago is currently under vegetative state. Please help us in common devotions to bring him back to live. Chuck, As soon as I have some time I will fill in some of the questions you have. I can fill in children's names and some dates. Mary Virginia's sisters children are mostly in Texas, but one of Addie Elizabeths girls is in Montana. Edna Nell only had one child - a daughter - Gloria Anita Windrum. She lives in Austin. More Later. Gary

Checking on the name and family of Hugo Koy. I believe he was a first City Marshal-Jacinto City, Texas, basically the first police chief of Jacinto City. He and his wife ran a nursery business back in the 40-50's and resided in the 10900 block of Lane St. If you are related to this Koy, please respond to me for additional information. I have been attempting to get a photograph of Hugo Koy for some time now and cannot find one. thanks, Chief Joe Ayala.

The ChuckRoots.org guestbook is back in business.  Your feedback is welcome.  Feel free to comment on the web site in general or post queries regarding any of the families on my genealogy pages.  Some of my best genealogy sources have been distant relations that stumble on this web site while performing a search of their family name.
